School Schedule
Monday through Thursday
7:30 am - Playground supervision begins- students arriving earlier must report to EDP
7:40 am - Students enter building
7:50 am - Students arriving in classrooms after this time will be marked tardy
7:50 am - Attendance, Morning Prayer and Pledge of Allegiance
8:00 am - Students arriving at school after this time must report to office
9:45 am - Kindergarten, First and Second grade recess
10:00 am - Third, Fourth and Fifth grade recess
11:00 am - Dismissal for preschool and pre-kindergarten students
11:00 am - Kindergarten, First and Second grade lunch
11:25 am - Third, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth grade lunch
11:50 am - Seventh and Eighth grade lunch
3:00 pm - Dismissal
Friday Schedule
The schedule is the same as above, except dismissal is at 2:00 pm on Friday and at 12:00 pm on First and Third Fridays.
EDP: EXTENDED DAY PROGRAM
SJCS provides an EDP program for students where they can be in a safe and supervised environment before and/or after school. Before school hours are from 6:30 to 7:40 am. After school hours are from 2:45 to 6:00 pm. Friday hours are in conjunction with dismissal times. EDP is also available for the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs. Fees and registration information for EDP is available at the front office.
