Visit Campus
Throughout the school year, prospective parents and their students are invited to come and see how Saint Joseph Catholic High School is makes a difference in the lives of our students - both nurturing and challenging the whole person; spiritually, intellectually, physically and emotionally.Tours
Tours are scheduled purposefully during the school day so that the visitor may see the actual interaction between the teachers and students, and students with students. Students are engaged in learning and an atmosphere of respect permeates the entire student body.
Drop Ins are always welcome. If time permits, an unscheduled tour may be given, especially if the visitor is visiting from out of state and has limited time, themselves. However, tours work best for all involved, when they are scheduled at least 24 hours ahead of time.
Shadows
Students are especially invited to "shadow" an existing SJCHS student for a day. In this way they get first hand experience of a day in the life of a SJCHS student. They may be surprised to see that the students do not put locks on their lockers - not a policy, but the choice of a student body that is striving to fully live the Christian value of respect
After following an 8 period schedule, complete with morning prayer, nutrition break, lunch and announcements, prospective students often return home on a high and with much excitement about returning as a full-time student.
Shadow days must be scheduled at least 24 hours ahead of time to allow us the opportunity to match the prospective student with an existing student of their age, gender and some common interests - which will be reflected in the class schedule.
Visit Anytime
Parents and students may find themselves on our end of town and may wish to stop by for some general information. Please, stop by anytime. We would love to take the time to answer any questions you may have and give you some literature about the school for you to read. We can also schedule a tour or shadow day, or may possibly have the time to tour you around the campus right then and there.
Both tours and shadow days can be scheduled by calling 394-1515 ext. 238.
