St. Joseph Catholic High School is accredited by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools. Committed, caring & competent are choice words to describe our teachers, many of whom hold advanced degrees. Backed by a strong administration, these teachers guide their students to a path of lifetime success.

By fulfilling our academic requirements, including 4 years of math, our students will not only meet acceptance requirements at public or private colleges and universities throughout the United States, they will be well on their way to collegiate success.

A note about homework

By middle school, students have mastered the ability to work independently on homework assignments. In high school, students know how to find additional, not-readily-available resources to help them complete special projects. Teachers remain available before and after school to help with tutoring, study groups, and study halls.

Homework times at this age level vary greatly as students branch out and choose different courses and electives. We invite and encourage parents to remain a vital support in this area. If a parent feels that his child is taking too much, or not enough, time with homework on a regular basis, he should discuss his concerns with his child’s teachers. There are many resources available for students who struggle, need more challenge, and all those in between.
